Radio controlled cars, or RC trucks as they are generally named, are a good pastime both for children and adults. Their work is based on a system of remote control. One more type of remote control cars is wire connection trucks, but radio controlled cars are much more popular. Radio controlled trucks are commonly divided in two groups: toy model trucks produced for kids and hobby-grade model which is designated for adolescents and adult people. These 2 versions of radio controlled cars are different, but still have something in common. Both of them represent copies of real life vehicles and are controlled via radio control. But there are some distinctive features of these 2 variants. First of all, a toy variant is a solid plastic representation of the vehicle when at the same time the hobby-grade variant is very close to a real-life truck in terms of outward appearance and individual parts. The hobby-grade cars are constructed in the same manner as a real-life truck. Furthermore, this version demands the same maintenance and service as if you were the owner of a standard truck. There are various ways of powering hobby-grade radio controlled cars. They can be electric, fuel or nitro powered. Making a decision which one to take isn't that easy. All the variants have their own advantages and disadvantages that should be carefully considered. For example, an electrically powered radio-controlled truck will be lighter that a petrol run one, but the last will be faster than the first one. Whatever the case, these cars are so intricate, that any enthusiast will be able to change his electric truck into a fuel run one, or vice versa, without particular efforts. What is so special about hobby-grade radio-controlled trucks that draws attention of thousands of men of all ages to them? For the main part, it is their intricacy. It's not a toy, it is actually a real-life truck, but very small. What's more, these RC trucks can be applied for racing and what man would refuse to feel oneself a racer? It's much funnier than computer games, that is the reason why radio-controlled cars are so attractive to big boys. Evidently, radio-controlled trucks are a wonderful way of spending time. But nevertheless remember that it will require a lot of maintenance, repair and upgrading. So this hobby is rather expensive, but it is a truly unforgettable experience.
